True Poker Mensalmente Pontos Races Increase to $100,000
01/02/2012It's been a big couple months for True Poker and their poker network. Last month, Yatahay changed their name to Winning Poker. During January, True Poker also saw it's largest tournament guarantee in their history -- $75,000. With the unveiling of their February promotion lineup players will notice another positive development at True Poker: the poker will now be giving away over $100,000 in cash through their Points Races during February, up $35,000 from last month.
During the month of February, the True Poker cash races will be divided into two separate Point Races, a $60,000k Marathon Race that will span the entire month -- similar to last month's $65,000 Race -- and a $40,000 Sprint Points Race promotion which will be held during each weekend in February. The Sprint Races will pay $10,000 in Cash Prizes each weekend.
$60,000 Points Race Details
Volta Rake players will automatically be enrolled in the $60,000 Points Race, which will pay cash prizes to the top 275 Point earners with first place receiving a $8,000 grand prize. Players earn 1.25 FPPs for every $1 in contributed rake but also receive extra bonus points for entering the major guaranteed tournaments held at True Poker.
$40,000 Sprint Details
Every weekend during February, True Poker will hold a race completely independent from the $60k Marathon. Each weekend, True Poker will pay $10,000 in cash prizes to the top 125 Point earners from Friday through Sunday. First place in each weekly leaderboard will receive $2,000. Unlike the Marathon, only points earned towards ring games will count towards the leaderboard. Player will receive 1.25 Points for every raked hand where the pot is raked $1 or more.
During the weekends, players can earn points towards both cash leaderboards.
